The weather was the most beautiful weather yet for a cruise-in on June 8 The air was just right and they rolled in starting at 4:30 PM at Hardee's. There were vehicles there from as far away as Roanoke Rapids, NC and Fredricksburg, VA. The lot was completely full before 7 p.m.

There were approximately 140-150 vehicles and 60 bikes that attended the cruise-in on this night. Again, they had been to local shows around, so they came and went all night. Many stayed until 10:00 pm, which was way after the cruise-in was over. Again, they came by the numbers and the lot filled quickly. As some left, others pulled in. Again, there were many new vehicles that showed up on this night that we hadn't been seen before. The Stray Cats Car Club out of NC came up to join us and brought 10 vehicles.
