Cruise-In Photos September 27

"Thank You Hardee's."
This would be another cooler and wet day through the afternoon for the Hardee's Cruise-In, but the air stayed dry and the sun came out after 4:00 PM.
Again, the cruisers were slow arriving, as they had been to the Super Kids Show at Prince George High School. Even with the bad weather that show pulled over 100 show vehicles with some coming from as far away as DC.
This would still be a good cruise-in night at Hardee's. When the crowd started coming in, they came in numbers and the lot was loaded by 7:00 PM or so. This would be another evening with a full lot and over 105 vehicles and over 50 bikes cruising the scene at Hardee's on this last cruise-in summer's night.
Now, don't misunderstand. The cruisers will still be coming if the weather is good. We just won't be bringing the music trailer. The damp night air doesn't do our equipment any good, and it's too expensive to mess up.
The "Pick of the Week" was the nice 1980 Plymouth Roadrunner that belongs to Larry Catlin of Chester, VA.
It looks like new & sounds sweet.

The "Pick of the Week" for the bikes was the 2006 Honda UTK1300 belonging to Dennis Joyner of Chester, VA.

Well, the cruise-in season ended with a bang! There was good music by the "Wolf Man" and lots of dancing all over Hardee's Parking lot. What a sight to see. Even a few of Hardee's girls got a a little time for a break
and came out just in time to join in the Fun.
We have been invited back for 2009. So put the date on your calendar now. 1st Saturday in April 2009. Be there or be square, as we use to say in the 50's and 60's! Again, Thank You Hardee's!
We all Love You for hosting the Cruise-In every year.
Every week we see more and more antique vehicles and new customs attend the cruise-in.
See if your vehicle is one of them? If not, Come on down and join us soon! Just click on the photo for better viewing.
