This would be another hot day for the Hardee's Cruise-In and again with unsettled weather. But, at least it stayed dry at Hardee's. Again, the cruisers were slow arriving, but they came in numbers as the air cooled off. There would be over 80-90 vehicles, but only about 40 bikes made the scene at Hardee's on this night. The rain held off till mid evening, but surely kept large numbers from attending.
The "Pick of the Week" was the nice 1946 Ford that belongs to
Stanley Acors of Varina, VA. It runs like a sewing machine.
