Virginia Classic Cruisers
These are photos of the club members that
attended the 13th Annual Virginia Classic Cruisers Open Car Show on April 11, 2009. The weather was not the greatest this year and was called early because of heavy rains. This group puts on a first
class show the beginning of the show season. This is two years in a row that this has happened to them. What a shame, since they do so much charity work for the community.
We hope next year will be better for them.
This year the club had DJ "Wolf Man John" come in to help them. The cars came early to register. Our club members, Luck Shelton and Leonard Lewis didn't let the weather scare them off. They jumped in their cars and cruises right over to support this club.

Virginia Street Rods, "Early Bird Rod Run"
These are photos of the club members that
attended the VA Street Rods Show on April 18, 2009. The weather was the greatest this year it's been in a couple of years. Sunny, 80 degrees, and beautiful cars everywhere. This group has put on a first
class show for 24 years. They have seen bad weather and beautiful weather over the years. We remember it even snowing back in the early 1990's, but that didn't stop attendance.
This year was just the best with
high class rods coming from as far away as Southwestern VA. The long distance award went to a guy that drove over 400 miles to get there. Another came from VA Beach and another from up Maryland way.
Two of our club members made the show this year. Luck Shelton drove his 1947 Ford and Mike Mathews drove his 1976 Corvette. Luck is also a state representative for GoodGuy's and was there to answer questions about joining,
should rodders have them.
